Palantir Technologies

Deployment Strategist

Deployment Strategists lead complex deployments of our software and do everything it takes to make them succeed: prove the analytical value of the software against nebulous problems with dirty data under tight time constraints, work intimately with customers to enable them to solve problems on their own, prioritize and manage multiple work streams while navigating complex political situations, and look for ways to grow Palantir’s impact with our existing customers and beyond. We are not all engineers, but we are all very comfortable with technology. We thrive in high pressure, chaotic environments and know how to manage competing priorities to deliver high quality execution to our customers.

You have operated in highly analytical or technical roles in the past, but you have also shown initiative to take over direction of projects and challenge assumptions on the best ways to execute them. You have figured out how to succeed in difficult environments even when your team or the customer has done nothing to help you. You are capable of handling senior executives in the morning and diving in with analysts in the afternoon. You have gotten as much as possible out of your current role but are craving more: more ownership, more challenges and more impact.

We are looking for individuals who want to play a part in shaping the future of analysis as we expand across Europe. To support our Palantir Government client base, this position is based in Denmark or London with frequent travel to our clients throughout Europe, including the occasional trip to our head office in Palo Alto, CA.

Palantir Technologies

Forward Deployed Software Engineer

You are a highly skilled software developer who can face down every technical challenge on the front lines of a deployment as rapidly as they surface, all with a smile on your face. You dive into complicated programming tasks on your own because letting them sit unfinished would bore you to the point of madness. You pick up books, pursue technical challenges and work to expand your prowess for the same reason. You've written tight and clean code for at least a few years, and your technical skills are on par with those who write code all day, every day. Additionally, your customer-facing and project management skills are solid.

Palantir is not a systems integration consultant. We're a product company, which means that we're not tracking our hours at the client site to make sure we're profitable. And, in fact, we don't track hours at all. Our team puts in the time to get the job done and we know when it's time to decompress. We encourage our team towards technical strength, efficiency, and fun.

We are expanding across Europe and to support our Palantir client base, this position can be based in Denmark or London with travel to our clients throughout Europe, including the occasional trip to our head office in Palo Alto, CA.
